I received my degree from the State University of New York, and have been a licensed educator for more than a decade. I am teaching fourth grade, which is something I am passionate about. Every day I bring the full force my enthusiasm, training, and energy to my time with students. It is a pleasure and a privilege to be able to watch my students grow and reach their academic goals. I find the ability to relate to students as individuals to be one of my strengths. I recognize that all children are not little copies of a model student. Each student has their own unique set of gifts and struggles. By discovering these, I am able to provide individualized instruction. I do have high standards. I believe students flourish when they know adults expect more of them, even if this requires more effort on their part. I am confident in my ability and know I can help any student I work with excel.I tutor elementary math, reading, writing, phonics, math, and English.
