I am a tutor who believes that it is crucial for a student to understand the basics of what they are learning. I believe that when students are able to understand ideas, they get more out of our sessions and their classes. This approach to learning is more effective than the students just repeating back something they have memorized, but do not fully understand. I also like to work with students and find what type of learning style they have because I believe everyone processes information in a different way.I have worked one on one with students since 2013, and I love to work on various Math subjects. I know many students are scared of the material, but I like to break it down into simple, easy steps, making the concepts less frightening.I tutor students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1-2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1-2, German, Italian, Computer Science, Reading, Writing, Social Sciences, American Literature, Philosophy, Public Speaking, Business, and Economics. I also offer assistance with test prep.I am a student at Seton Hall University, where I am currently earning my B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science.In my free time, I love to be active, and I have completed Phase A in Krav Maga. I also go to the gym and love doing martial arts.
